Question's Answer for Pricing Plan
What Is An OnSite User?
While the typical user gains full access to Cable Pilot functionality, the OnSite user possesses a comprehensive and user-friendly mobile application tool designed specifically for QR code scanning, cable and equipment status reporting, and issue identification. The OnSite user is a specialized user role for labor personnel.
What is drawing indexing tool?
The drawing indexing tool automatically organizes and links your electrical drawings to cables and equipment within Cable Pilot. This enables instant access to specific drawing pages for quick viewing, highlighting, and printing, dramatically speeding up your workflow.
What is Cable Pilot AI?
Imagine having an experienced engineer instantly reviewing your electrical drawings and supporting you in managing an electrical installation project. That’s exactly what our Cable Pilot AI assistant does. It automates the time-consuming process of cross-referencing cables, equipment, and drawings — highlighting potential discrepancies and suggesting corrections. It also assists with statistical analysis and progress forecasting. This frees up your team to focus on critical tasks, significantly increasing efficiency and reducing project timelines.
How advanced collaboration tools works?
Cable Pilot facilitates efficient and transparent collaboration with features like external user accounts, approval and handover workflows, entity-specific comments, quality issue management, and customizable lists. We also provide stakeholder-specific dashboards and reports, delivering targeted information to contractors, supervisors, compliance officers, and customers, ensuring everyone stays informed and aligned.
How are Cable Points calculated for estimating electrical installation effort?
Cable Points (CP) are values we use to quantify the labor effort required for specific electrical installation work. Essentially, Cable Points help us translate the physical aspects of an electrical installation into a measurable estimate of the labor involved, allowing for transparent planning in the Business plan with predefined CP values and highly customizable effort prediction in the Enterprise plan.
How does Delays & Blocker Tracking work?
Cable Pilot allows field teams to register blockers directly from the mobile app—by scanning a QR code and selecting the affected cable, equipment, or room. Each blocker includes a description, responsible party, photos, and tags (e.g., “missing materials,” “documentation error,” “no access”). The system then links the blocker to all relevant tasks (like cable pulling or connection), alerts responsible stakeholders, and displays it in dashboards and reports. When the task is completed, the blocker automatically unlinks. This creates a transparent chain of evidence, helps protect contractors from blame, and gives managers real-time visibility into the causes of delays.
